Spent Catalyst (used Catalyst) pose a problem for the client after it has been removed from the vessel. CIACS have developed an environmentally safe solution to dispose of all spent catalyst and support material.

At our company’s job site in Claxton Bay, we have constructed a Catalyst pit that is capable of storing 10,000 cubic ft. of material. This pit is water tight and can be partitioned to store up to four types of Catalyst. The Spent Catalyst never touches the ground at the Plant Site as it is vacuumed directly from the vessel into waiting dump trucks or storage containers (Flow Bins).

If the client prefers, we oxidize, package and ship directly from their site.
