The CIACS employee orientation introduces the worker to their new environment. This program identifies the personnel, equipment, material resources and work environment, which are associated with our field of work. Upon successful completion employees are issued with an orientation card.
Caribbean Industrial and Agricultural Chemical Services (CIACS) Limited is committed to the Health and Safety of our employees and those affected by its work. The company will implement measures to:
- To provide adequate assessment and control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities;
- To consult with our employees on all matters that can affect their health and safety;
- To provide and maintain safe plant and equipment in order to prevent accidents;
- To ensure safe handling and use of hazardous substances;
- To provide information, instruction and supervision for employees;
- To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training; to prevent accidents and cases of work – related ill health;
- To maintain safe and healthy working conditions;
- To review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals;
- To comply with all applicable legislation in the operation of the business and;
- To conduct our business with minimal impact to others and the environment.
These measures shall be reviewed annually to enable continuous improvement of the HSE Management Systems.
