Catalyst Unloading

CIACS offers multiple unloading services and methods.
Most commonly practiced is gravity unload via dump nozzle. CIACS has modified this conventional approach so that airborne dust is controlled. CIACS can dump into dump trucks, transfer bins (flow bins), hoppers, roll off containers or anything the client prefers to contain the spent catalyst.
CIACS can vacuum unload any type of catalyst in any type reactor using our closed loop continuous discharge system. In a N2 (Nitrogen) environment, the recovery of the N2 is essential to keep unloading cost low to the client. The vacuumed N2 is passed through a cooling system and then returned to the vessel.

Therefore makeup N2 is reduced and the environment temperature is reduced for the In-vessel technician inside the vessel.
Storage tanker unloading is also offered by CIACS.
